Ecogeek has an article about wind power robots
made by Dutch artist Theo Jansen. He calls them Strandbeest (I don’t
know why) and his walking creations look like
huge SODA
Constructor robots in real life and he lets them walk across a
beach. He
seems to have scored at last one BMW commercial with his wind powered
robots. There’s cool youtube
videos of Strandbeests on the site too! Lots of pics and such
out on the web too. His website strandbeest.com seem to be down, tho.
